Human Resource Director at Electromech Technologies- A division of Transdigm Group Company Description Electromech Technologies custom designs, qualifies, and manufactures quality products for industries such as Aerospace, Military, Industrial, and Medical. The company is located in Wichita, KS, and is known for its innovative solutions and commitment to excellence in diverse sectors. Position Responsible for: A high profile position, demanding interaction with all levels of management. Hands-on management of all aspects of the accounting dept including, inventory, P/R, A/R, A/P, and general accounting. Supervise 3 direct reports and accountants at Mexico facility. Reports directly to the Vice President of Finance. Position Duties
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to: Responsible for month-end G/L closing process. Perform/review account reconciliation and analysis. Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting. Analyze actual vs. budget operating performance. Perform and review costing of new business proposals. Coordinate and communicate information provided to outside auditors. Add value to the company through efficiency gains and cost reductions. Evaluate capital expenditures and analyze the short and long-term return on investment. Ensure the accounting procedures are in compliance with S.O.X. Prepare monthly analysis of accounts receivable balances and customer payment trends. Coordinate and communicate maquiladora accounting functions with accountants at Mexico facility. Special projects. Assist in systems implementation. Must have good oral, written communications and have a high level of moral and ethical codes. Qualifications
Education & Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting. BS/BA in accounting or finance related field. CPA highly desired. Supervisory experience required. Strong PC spreadsheet skills, MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of Epicor/Vantage a plus. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational and analytical skills. Self motivated individual with excellent hands-on leadership skills. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. green card holder), political asylum or refugee.
