Financial Data Analysts

to join our partner’s Reconciliation and Budgeting/Operations team. These roles are essential to supporting key financial operations and alleviating workload from senior budget analysts. This is a

contract position through April 30, 2026 , with the

potential for full-time employment (FTE)

Collect, compile, and enter financial and operational data into CAPPS, USAS, and related systems. Support budgeting and reconciliation activities alongside senior analysts. Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of monthly budget reports and financial analyses. Maintain consistent and timely reconciliation processes. Collaborate across teams to support financial operations and special projects. What We’re Looking For

At least 3 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial management. Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply relevant financial policies. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with Texas state financial systems such as CAPPS, USAS, SharePoint, or Tableau. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (desirable). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information professionally. Interest in long-term employment within state government. Valid driver’s license. Must pass a state background check to be eligible for hire. Exciting Opportunity Details

Rate: $35.00/hour. Length of Engagement: 10/27/25 through 4/30/26 (Temporary to Permanent) Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Location: Austin, TX 78752 (Onsite).
