Responsibilities

Update medical margin models to support the monthly financial close process

Research and identify drivers of prior period development for revenue and claims

Enhance and maintain medical economics tools and dashboards for trend analysis

Prepare materials to present financial results to Market Finance leadership

Support Business Development and Payer Contracting teams with actuarial insights

Qualifications

1-4 years of relevant actuarial experience in insurance, consulting, or managed care

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics, or related field

Completion of 2+ actuarial exams

Strong understanding of health insurance, particularly Medicare Advantage

Proficient in Excel and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Medicare Advantage products

Familiarity with actuarial techniques for analysis and modeling of healthcare financials

Ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets, especially medical claims

Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to improve processes without prompting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
