We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Tampa, FL. This role will be responsible for journal entries, general ledger analysis, financial reporting and reconciliations of related accounts or other financial and analytical projects as directed. It also requires an attention to detail and solid analytical, organizational and communication abilities. This is a hybrid position that requires on-site presence at least 2 days a week. Responsibilities
Records journal entries and reviews general ledger details. Reconciles accounts to the general ledger. Research discrepancies and corrects errors. Creates, reviews and provides reports. Assists with external audit requests. Reviews transactions for compliance with company policy and GAAP. Works with Accounts Payable to ensure proper coding. Assists with the preparation of budgets. Duties may be general accounting in nature or more specialized and focused, e.g., fixed asset accounting. Performs other duties as the supervisor may deem necessary. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and at least six years of experience or 3 years of Public Accounting experience and a CPA certification. Oracle, Blackline preferred or other G/L and banking reconciliation software experience, along with an understanding of consolidated financial statements for multiple entities (preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of GAAP. What we offer
