Maintaining Safe & Secure Environment

– Understand safety is the number one priority. Practice safe behaviors and assist Store Leadership in maintaining a safe environment for Associates and Customers. Maintain a visible presence at entrances/exits and on the sales floor in Company-issued attire, monitoring for potential safety issues. Remove clutter and ensure safe egress to emergency exits. Developing Great Teams & Partnerships

– Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, respectful demeanor. Demonstrate courtesy, professionalism, and recognition of Associates. Engage with internal and external partners via conference calls, district meetings, and trainings. Other duties may be assigned to support Loss Prevention initiatives. Personal and Store Brand

– Represent and support the company brand at all times. Maintain professional appearance per dress code. Mitigating Theft & Fraud

– Monitor entrances, exits, and the sales floor for suspicious behavior. Gather theft indicators and communicate with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention. Adhere to policy for external theft response. Maximize productivity by following Best Practices. Minimizing Operational Shortage

– Increase store awareness of shortage reduction processes. Train Associates on shortage reduction initiatives. Observe and validate proper checkout procedures. Qualifications and Special Skills

High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred. One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred. One year loss prevention/security training preferred. Active Security Guard License preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team. Excellent customer service skills. Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict. Must comply with applicable laws and may require background screening, physical examination, fingerprinting, and/or drug testing as required for security positions. Physical Requirements

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Ability to stand, walk, and move around the Store up to 100% of working time. Ability to lift or move objects more than 25 lbs. as needed. Ability to bend, stoop, or crouch as required by daily business needs. Supervisory Responsibilities
