The Department of Humanities at the University of Alaska Southeast, School of Arts & Sciences, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated adjunct faculty members to teach writing courses in our English Program. We are looking for educators with a strong background in English, Literature, Composition and Rhetoric, or Creative Writing. This is a temporary adjunct position and is not remote. Teach writing courses as part of the English Program. Contribute to high-quality education and inspiring learning experiences aligned with the program\'s mission. Engage with diverse student populations and support student learning and success. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Master\'s degree in English, Literature, Composition and Rhetoric, or Creative Writing from an accredited institution of higher education. Two years of relevant experience, preferably in a college or university setting, with graduate-level coursework in teaching of writing is preferred. Skills:

Knowledge of accepted instructional methods; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; public speaking skills; student support skills. Compensation and Appointment

This is a temporary faculty position. Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching experience within the University of Alaska. Application Process
