Assistant Residence Manager

Birch Family Services . Essential Functions: Assisting in maximizing the functioning of mentally/physically handicapped adults. Ensuring quality services to all residents. Assigning work to DSP and overseeing Shift Supervisors. Providing staff supervision and oversight in the absence of the Residence Manager. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on treatment/behavioral plans. Monitoring staff to ensure goals and behavioral support plans are implemented correctly. Attending meetings at schools and/or day treatment programs and communicating professionally with these entities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in OPWDD-related field, with 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong written, verbal, and computational skills. Flexible schedule availability for meetings and work hours. Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills to articulate the company’s mission. Basic mathematical skills. Problem-solving and logical thinking abilities. Ability to work independently within guidelines. Confidentiality awareness. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Ability to operate office equipment and travel as needed. Long and irregular hours, including weekends and second shifts. Physical care for clients may be required, including restraint if necessary. Note:
