Position: Site Assistant (Days) Reports to: Site Manager Schedule

30-40 hrs/wk on site at MC, 10-hr shifts 10 am to 8 pm Additional time spent in organizational meetings and meetings with MC community members Key Areas

MC Operations

- Community member support; Community member participation; Perform site walks in coordination with Site Coordinator; Monitor daily activities using the Daily Activity Log (issues, incidents, notable occurrences); Accountability/Complaints/Compliance; Support with MC Use agreements and notify community members when not in compliance; Track and record notifications and follow-up plans; Report accountability and non-compliance to MC Coordinators; Support accountability processes including exiting community members with guidance; Communication with MC community members in a trauma-informed manner; Ensure information is distributed effectively; Site upkeep (cleanliness, safety, snow removal, unit checks, etc.); Collaboration with peer supporters; Connect community members to resources. MC Programming

- Personal MC community member support; Build relationships; Connect to resource navigation; Connect to personal crisis support as needed; Assist with coordination of community dinners; Prepare space and set up for dinners. Conflict Management and Crisis Response

- Conflict management and resolution coordination with MC Manager; Support resolution coordination with guidance from Site Coordinators; Violence/Threats coordination; Respond and report to MC Manager; Support exiting community members as necessary with guidance. Metrics and Reporting

- Help fill out site logs (e.g., cleaning logs, site walks); Support data collection and reporting as needed. Other Responsibilities

Other duties as assigned. Team may require taking on additional responsibilities while supporting the MC community. Physical and Cleaning Requirements

The position requires the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Tasks may involve standing, sitting, or walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Occasional reaching, bending, crouching, or kneeling; manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and technology; visual and auditory ability to respond to tasks and ensure safety. Cleaning tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, proper disposal of cleaning materials, and using cleaning equipment as required. Follow safety and hygiene protocols. Requirements

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Homeless shelter operations experience is preferred At least one year of being successfully housed is preferred Experience operating computerized office equipment and telephones. Reliable transportation is preferred. Cell phone to download and access CVC applications is required Skills Needed
