On-Call Site Coordinator (Nights/ Overnight) Part-time
Job Title: On-Call Site Coordinator (Nights/ Overnight)
Reports to: Floater/On-Call Manager
Location: Denver
Compensation: $24.51 per hour (Part-time position)
The On-Call Site Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Site Manager and Site Assistants to ensure that the MicroCommunity (MC) space provides a safe, stable, healing, and supportive environment for community members, staff, volunteers and the broader community. Specifically, the MC On-Call Coordinator will support Floating/On-Call Manager in their leadership to the Micro-Community operations and programming as outlined below.
Schedule/Hours This position is expected to travel to work at any MC site to fill open shifts on an as needed basis. No guaranteed hours, 10 hr shifts when called in to work. The employee will have the ability to accept or refuse hours based on availability. Shift 3: 7:30 pm - 5:30 am; Shift 4: 9:30 pm - 7:30 am.
Time will be spent in organizational meetings, meeting with external partners and coalitions, meeting with MC community members, etc.
Key Area #1 - MC Operations
Community Member Intake - Intake Form with basic information for HMIS data entry.
Signed Use Agreement whereby community member acknowledges understanding and agreement to abide by all policies, rights, and responsibilities.
Community Member Participation - Complete and record Daily Wellness Screening using sign in log sheets.
Perform site walks in coordination with MC Assistant.
Monitor daily activities using the Daily Activity Log, including issues, incidents and other notable occurrences.
Accountability/Complaints/Compliance - Ensure community member compliance with MC Use agreements, notify community members when they are not in compliance, track and record notifications, follow up plans, etc.
Report community member accountability and non-compliance to MC Manager.
Support MC Manager with community member accountability process including exiting community members when appropriate.
Communicate with MC community members while providing stable, trauma-informed interactions.
Ensure information is distributed to MC community members effectively including outreach schedule, resources, etc.
Site Upkeep - Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety and accountability of the site (cleaning community spaces, bathrooms, interior and exterior site walks, snow removal, unit checks, accountability conversations, de-escalation, etc.).
Collaboration - Ops staff often assist our peer supporters with organizing and hosting community events, building community, connecting community members to resources such as case managers, medical outreach, peer supporters, etc.
Key Area #2 - MC Programming
Personal MC community member support.
Build relationships and establish rapport with community members.
Support community members with progressing towards housing and employment goals.
Connect MC community members to resource navigation.
Connect MC community members to personal crisis support as needed.
Assist with coordination of Community Dinners.
Key Area #3 - Conflict Management and Crisis Response
Conflict Management and Resolution coordination with MC Manager.
Promote conflict resolution among community members.
Ensure conflict is managed and resolved in a non-violent manner.
Ensure follow through on conflict resolution agreements.
Submit records of conflict management and resolution to supervisor.
Violence/Threats of Violence coordination with MC Manager.
If violence or threats of violence break out at the MC, support Lead Coordinator with responding and reporting to MC Manager.
Exit community members as necessary in partnership with MC Manager.
Key area #4 - Metrics and Reporting
Conduct HMIS data collection/input on an ongoing basis.
Support MC Manager with data collection and reporting as needed.
Physical Requirements The position requires the ability to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Tasks may involve prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 40 lbs. Additional requirements include occasional reaching, bending, crouching, or kneeling, along with manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and technology. Visual and auditory ability to respond to tasks and ensure safety are also essential.
Cleaning Requirements The position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Cleaning tasks may include sweeping, mopping, dusting and disinfecting surfaces; handling and proper disposal of cleaning supplies and materials; and using cleaning equipment, such as shopvac cleaners as required. Following safety and hygiene protocols to prevent hazards or contamination is essential.
Other Responsibilities Other duties as assigned. We are a small, dynamic team and at times everyone is required to do a bit of everything. You may be asked to take on other responsibilities from time to time, but these should not get in the way of your ultimate responsibility which is supporting the MC community and the individuals that reside there.

Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Homeless Shelter Operations Experience is Preferred.
At least one year of being successfully housed is preferred.
Experience in operating computerized office equipment and telephones.
Reliable transportation is preferred.
Cell phone to download and access CVC applications is required.
