We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized
Litigation Paralegal
to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-trial investigation and discovery to trial and appeals. This role requires strong research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of court procedures and document management. Salary: $70,000 - 80,000/year Responsibilities
Draft, review, and organize legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence Manage case files and maintain document management systems (physical and electronic) Assist attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness files, and trial binders Conduct legal and factual research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, and other legal research tools Coordinate and attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed File legal documents with state and federal courts, both electronically (e-filing) and in person if required Summarize depositions, discovery materials, medical records, and other case documents Track court deadlines and maintain litigation calendars Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines in multiple jurisdictions Requirements
Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred Experience:
2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation or a related practice area Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including discovery, trial, and appellate procedures Proficiency with legal research tools (Lexis, Westlaw) and litigation software (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, TrialDirector, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
