Overview We are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support our Scottsdale office.
Responsibilities
Preparing contracts, including lease or rental agreements and closing documents.
Obtaining, preparing and/or filing various documents, certificates, statements, amendments, and forms.
Forming limited liability companies and other entities.
Performing UCC and other searches.
Preparing and tracking closing checklists and transactional documentation from letter of intent through completion of closing binders.
Participating in and attending closings.
Obtaining Registry of Deeds documentation.
Assisting with various lease documents.
Reviewing due diligence materials.
Obtaining documents from various governmental agencies.
Facilitating communication between the lawyers for buyer and seller.
Negotiating contracts.
Reviewing title reports.
Monitoring financial transactions and foreclosures.
Preparing legal descriptions of land.
Qualifications
ABA‑approved paralegal certification.
Extensive experience working in commercial real estate law in a law firm environment.
Professional, organized self‑starter with the ability to interact with staff and clients at all levels in a fast‑paced, challenging legal environment.
Proactive work ethic, the ability to anticipate needs, strong decision making skills, attention to detail, and a flexible schedule.
