Navy ERP Program Analyst-Journeyman (Acquire to Retire)

The successful candidate will provide Navy ERP business process and SAP technical support to the NAVAIR Navy ERP Business Office (NBO) Finance Team in the Acquire to Retire (A2R) business process stream. The analyst will provide relevant business knowledge and technical support to the acquisition/procurement and period end close processes as they relate to managing Navy General Equipment (GE) in the SAP Asset Management (AM) module. Responsibilities
Analyze, resolve and track Navy ERP system and end-user issues as they relate to Navy ERP GE. Assess recurring business processes and system errors to identify root causes. Gather and analyze Navy ERP data to quantify system issues and/or answer data requests as it relates to GE. Provide feedback on new or updated Navy ERP capabilities. Participate in sessions to provide business process functional and technical expertise to develop requirements for new or updated business processes as they relate to Navy ERP GE. Develop recommendations and alternatives to potential system solutions to meet the stated objectives and limit end-user impacts. Perform analysis of changes and solutions being made to Navy ERP to develop testing strategies and test plans for Navy ERP GE processes. Execute Navy ERP GE testing to ensure changes and solutions perform as documented and do not adversely impact NAVAIR’s business processes. Collaborate with NBO personnel, NAVAIR Navy ERP end-users, business process owners, and external stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of software solutions related to Navy GE. Develop and maintain deliverables such as User Desk Guides, SOPs, communiques, and targeted emails. Qualifications
Education: BS or BA degree is desired, not required. Experience: 6 years of Navy ERP experience; 2 to 4 years of demonstrated experience providing business and financial support in a Navy ERP environment involving Navy GE. Other Requirements: This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in Navy ERP processing in two or more of the following areas: creating and maintaining Navy GE with Navy ERP; month-end processes related to Navy GE; analyzing and running program/project financial reports with Navy ERP; experience in Navy GE Policy and Process; experience in Navy ERP Asset Management (AM) module. Skills & Technology Used: Analytical thinking and problem solving; strong communication; ability to train, lead projects, and direct employees; customer service oriented; multi-task capability. Software: NERP, MS Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and general office equipment. What We Bring

Salary range: USD $90,000 - $125,000.
