Termite Technician

(Rentokil family of companies). This role involves protecting customers' properties from wood destroying organisms through inspections, prevention, and treatment services. Responsibilities
Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions Communicate critical conditions conducive to termite activity to customers and discuss procedures and structural modifications as needed Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment Complete production forms documenting services provided Interact with customers and explain services provided Essential Job Functions
Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations Prepare the job site for treatment Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders Comfortable working up to 20 feet on a ladder and in small confined spaces General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus Ability to work on roofs and high areas Move frequently — sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, ascend/descend stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles Wear PPE, including OSHA-compliant respirators, and work in confined spaces or narrow passages where pests live What you need
Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal adequately) High school diploma or GED Must pass pre-employment background screen Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (company vehicle and gas card provided) At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Flexible with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us) Basic math skills — ability to follow product label instructions for mixing Pay Range
Hourly:
