What do our Termite Technicians do? Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers' properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers.
Responsibilities
Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions
Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications that may be supplemental to the treatment process
Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
Complete production forms documenting services provided
Interact with customers and explain services provided
Essential Job Functions
Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
Prepare the job site for treatment
Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders
Be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces
General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus
Ability to work on roofs and high areas
Regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and be comfortable working in confined spaces, narrow aisles or passageways
Requirements
Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal your face)
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided)
At least 1 year of customer service, experience in termite control is a plus
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Flexible with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; follow instructions for mixing on product labels
Pay Range Hourly: $17.00 – $23.00
