Overview KPMG is currently seeking a Temporary Systems Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator for a nine-month assignment to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems
Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and assess impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure
Install and test new enterprise system software and hardware releases
Work directly with users to prioritize requests and update users on progress and estimated delivery timeframe
Coordinate support escalation communication; contribute to project technical documentation including design, configuration, installation
Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management; provide on-call and after-hours/weekend production support
Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms
Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience operating in a large enterprise environment; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux; working knowledge of SANs
Bachelor's degree preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish required
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware VSphere and Cisco UCS is a plus; strong troubleshooting using built-in Windows tools
Ability to automate tasks with PowerShell and Python; experience deploying software across the server estate
Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and ServiceNow is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
