Seasonal Tax-FSO- GCR Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory-Insurance-Manager is a Seasonal Manager role within EY's National Tax Department (NTD) and the Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services (TARAS) practice. Location: Anywhere in the country (New York or Remote). EY focuses on helping clients with tax accounting and risk management as part of a globally connected, diverse team. Key Responsibilities
Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions between US GAAP and IFRS, share-based compensation, financial statement restatements, and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts). Assist companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision. Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance the control environment; assess tax risk and control environments beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. Tax Accounting Projects and Consulting Tax Provision Preparation/Review; assist with all aspects of the tax provision Process and Controls Enhancement Key Risks Identification, Prioritization, Monitoring and Remediation To Qualify For The Role You Must Have
A bachelor’s degree in a related field, with significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention to detail Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Strong ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 experience; experience in corporate tax planning and compliance; broader tax experience in business or industry with exposure to federal income taxation What We Look For
