SHRM-TA certified Human Resources Generalist at Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic We are seeking a licensed and experienced Insurance Agent to oversee and manage all insurance-related matters for our two affiliated companies—Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic and Hoskinson Contracting. This full-time, onsite role is responsible for ensuring comprehensive insurance coverage, and acting as the in-house broker to procure and negotiate additional insurance policies as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses strong knowledge of commercial, professional, and self-insurance programs. • No direct reports initially (Future supervisory responsibilities may evolve based on organizational growth and department needs.) Responsibilities

Collaborate with company leadership to assess insurance needs. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper risk coverage. Liaise with external insurers, underwriters, and regulatory bodies. Manage and maintain all active insurance policies across both businesses (clinic and contracting), including general liability, workers’ compensation, malpractice, property, auto, umbrella, and other lines of coverage. Oversee and administer the company’s self-insurance plan, including claims review, analyze performance, reserves tracking, and regulatory compliance. Serve as the in-house insurance broker, identifying, negotiating, and securing new or additional coverage as needed. Analyze insurance coverage gaps and develop risk management strategies. Act as the point of contact for claims handling and resolution; liaise with carriers, adjusters, and legal counsel. Ensure timely renewals, premium payments, and policy endorsements. Maintain accurate records of all insurance documents and communications. Stay up-to-date on federal and state insurance regulations and ensure company compliance. Provide leadership with regular reports on insurance program status, claims activity, and risk exposure. Education, Certifications, and Licenses

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field preferred. Licensed Insurance Agent preferred. Broker’s license and/or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or similar certification is a plus. Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, insurance brokerage, or risk management. Experience managing multiple lines of business insurance, preferably including healthcare and contracting/construction sectors. Familiarity with self-insurance models and regulatory frameworks. Required Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and recommend solutions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders. Strong understanding of state and federal insurance regulations. Benefits
