$18.00 per hour (Rates can vary by market)
Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Overnight Lot Auditor to manage parking lot activity during the overnight shift. This role involves conducting audits, directing vehicles, ensuring safety, and maintaining an organized, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will work independently, manage data, perform security checks, and provide excellent customer service while working outdoors in various conditions.
Primary Objective
To provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and orderly parking environment. The Overnight Parking Lot Attendant ensures efficient traffic flow, enforces parking policies, assists guests with inquiries, and upholds the overall security and cleanliness of the parking area.
Duties And Responsibilities Audit and Reconciliation:
Conduct comprehensive audits of parking lot operations, including vehicle counts, ticketing, and financial records. Reconcile discrepancies between physical vehicle counts and digital or paper logs to ensure accuracy. Review records for errors or inconsistencies and make necessary corrections.
Vehicle Activity Monitoring:
Monitor entry and exit, ensure accurate logging and ticket matching. Use security systems to track movements, identify and report unauthorized vehicles, improper parking, or any irregularities.
Reporting, Documentation And Attention To Detail:
Complete shift reports detailing tickets issued, revenue, and operational data. Maintain logs of vehicle arrivals and parking operations. Maintain strong attention to detail for auditing and records accuracy.
Security And Compliance:
Conduct regular parking lot inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed. Respond to security concerns, monitor for unauthorized vehicles, and report issues to management. Work independently with minimal supervision.
Lot Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the parking lot, ensuring equipment, spaces, and safety items are in good condition and clear of hazards.
Hospitality, Customer Service And Communication:
Provide professional guest service, active listening, and clear two-way radio communication. Create a welcoming environment and assist guests per company standards.
Attendance And Professionalism:
Maintain regular attendance and uphold PMC standards for safe and efficient operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support evolving business needs, attend required meetings and training, and maintain schedule flexibility.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Customer service experience preferred; a positive, helpful attitude is essential.
Licenses & Background Requirements A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Clean motor vehicle record (no more than three moving violations in the past three years).
Pass and maintain a clean background check.
No special certifications required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for long periods.
Work in indoor and outdoor environments, in all types of weather.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance; follow uniform and grooming standards.
Schedule flexibility required—nights, weekends, and holidays may be needed.
Be alert to surroundings in active parking facilities.
Customer Service & Communication Strong communication skills, active listening, and professional tone.
Handle guest interactions with care and attention to detail.
Team-oriented and able to collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
Technology Use May need to use a personal cell phone for work communications or mobile apps.
