Recruitment Number OHHI-25152 – Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs – Operation Hire Hawaii (OH-HI) project: expedited hiring process to fast‑track qualified applicants throughout Hawai’i. All applicants must pass a Legal Authorization review. The current vacancy is located in Downtown. Responsibilities

Independently perform a wide variety of legal clerical work in support of attorneys, primarily involving the preparation, processing and filing of complex legal and court documents. Prioritize assignments to complete preparation and processing of legal documents within frequent time constraints and established deadlines. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Legal Authorization to work in the United States – citizens, nationals, permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. Two (2) years of progressively responsible legal clerical work experience involving preparing, typing, processing and filing legal documents. Knowledge of legal terminology, court functions, court document preparation, processing and filing practices and procedures. Ability to prepare, process and file a variety of legal and court documents in proper format, carry out legal office clerical routines, communicate effectively, and type accurately at 40 net words per minute. Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements apply. Salary

$4,054 to $5,133 per month (SR‑14, Step C to I). Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, applicant qualifications, and other relevant factors. EEO Statement
