Information Technology IT Disaster Recovery Analyst — Richmond, VA (Onsite) Posted: 6/26/2025 Job Summary
The IT Disaster Recovery Analyst is responsible for supporting IT Disaster recovery (IT DR) strategies for IT infrastructure services. As an IT DR Analyst you will be responsible for developing operational IT recovery scripts based on input from technical support areas, developers and business owners. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and leading planning activities leading up to business resumption and contingency certification tests which includes providing test day support for specific/assigned lines of business. The IT DR Analyst will be responsible for providing consultation in the development of IT recovery strategies for new platforms, drive automation of recovery steps as well as ensuring existing processes are continuously improved to achieve IT recovery efficiency. Finally, the IT DR Analyst provides support with infrastructure recovery during an actual contingency event/incident. Responsibilities
Manages and controls the processing of programs and peripheral equipment on mainframe and/or distributed computer systems to ensure the highest levels of service and system availability are attained. Establishes production runs, ensuring that appropriate job control language, run documentation and data files are available. Assists in job set-up. Performs problem identification, escalation and resolution. Communicates status of operations to allow for immediate response to service disruptions. #LI-PG1

Planning, coordinating and executing IT disaster testing between data centers and environments (Cloud, Colo, on prem). Day-to-day Expectations
Participate in all facets of planning, coordinating and supporting IT DR testing, documentation updating, and participating in the daily agile process with JIRA/KANBAN style work. 30-60-90 Day Expectation
30 days – learning the ropes, 60 days – starting to gain knowledge to shadow colleagues in testing coordination and support, 90 days – showing the ability to independently support an IT application failover and recovery test.
