https://youtu.be/rS3_3zSHb4Q What you will do The Sr. Commercial Security Account Executive is a senior sales role requiring certification, team selling skills, and knowledge of Johnson Controls' integrated technologies, including fire systems and high-level applications. The role involves securing profitable sales and upgrades from new, existing, and discontinued customers within an assigned territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. This individual will also possess a strong understanding of our product and service offerings. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for selling sophisticated, integrated solutions and products. Part of the role involves mentoring newer sales associates as directed by management, working on fire and integrated technologies to meet customer needs and ensure profitability. How you will do it Adhere to Johnson Controls policies, procedures, products, programs, and services Create new market share by selling a broad range of products and services to local commercial customers Expand sales within existing accounts by offering additional products and services, including upgrades and system conversions Renew existing customer agreements Identify resale opportunities within your territory Sell products such as video surveillance, access control, and fire systems Estimate, confirm, and sell fire jobs requiring NICET certification and knowledge of municipal codes, with support from colleagues Generate prospects using creative lead techniques and maintain relationships with current customers Utilize marketing materials and the Commercial Model Sales Call process to present and propose solutions effectively Develop call plans and follow-up strategies, managing your territory efficiently Maintain in-depth product and customer knowledge through training and research Obtain referrals and collaborate with Centers of Influence Process work orders and complete paperwork as per procedures Follow up post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction and meet commitments Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members Engage in team-selling, especially during the first 180 days in the role Drive new business development within North America and local accounts, both existing and new What we look for Required High school diploma or equivalent At least 5 years of successful commercial sales experience in security, IT, or related technology fields, with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging senior executives Ability to work full-time Preferred Associate's degree Availability for local or regional travel, including nights and weekends as needed Salary Range:
