Instructional/Teaching Performance: Utilize innovative teaching techniques; develop and implement lesson plans based on entrance testing results and course syllabi; provide instruction, offer feedback, grade in-class assignments, and use technology to direct student learning; ensure students stay on task and meet deadlines for assignments and assessments. Program/Instructional Management: Maintain accurate student records (grades, attendance, placements, licensure statistics); conduct internal audits of student records; keep an up-to-date policy binder in the classroom; manage deadlines related to instructional management. Support and Coaching for Adult Learners: Conduct one-on-one meetings to assess needs, set goals, develop learning plans, track progress; assist with study skills, time management, organization; identify and resolve barriers by connecting students to support services; motivate and hold students accountable; identify at-risk students and implement proactive interventions; collaborate with faculty and staff; facilitate group workshops; maintain data tracking and provide data-driven reports for program evaluation. Cross-Training and Department Support: Cross-train to support all department areas (administrative and programmatic); perform additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operation and support students, faculty and staff. Required Education

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university Experience in teaching, training, and/or counseling adult learners Preferred experience in an Adult Education, K-12, or Special Education setting Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse learners Understanding of adult learning principles and tailored support strategies Problem-solving and critical thinking to identify obstacles and create customized strategies Goal setting and motivation to guide students and maintain progress Cultural competency and sensitivity to engage with diverse populations Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work, or related field Experience: At least one year of experience working with adult learners, preferably in adult education or workforce development Benefits
