Responsibilities
Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
12 Child Development units completed required: Child Development, Child, Family, and Community, Introduction to Curriculum, and Principles and Practices. If applying for an Infant or Toddler position, Infant and Toddler Development class is required as one of the curriculum courses
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required
Transcripts will be required at time of hire
AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate: $25.75 - $31.45 per hour
Hiring incentive of $3000 payable after 100 days of employment
