The primary leadership responsibility is to create an uplifting and friendly customer experience through exceptional service by highly satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, evaluating performance, rewarding, and coaching associates. Establish an uplifting work environment that allows associates to feel valued, appreciated, and engaged. Empower associates to create a simple, fresh, and inspired shopping experience for every customer. Prioritize and plan work activities efficiently. Identify and resolve problems timely by gathering and analyzing information and developing solutions. Communicate company, department, and job-specific information to associates, including from meetings and huddles. Ensure new associates are properly oriented and understand their benefits. Support the company's customer and associate promises. Delegate work assignments clearly and monitor progress. Be punctual for work and meetings, ensuring responsibilities are covered when absent. Execute action plans and daily priorities, including performance goals and best practices. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines. Reinforce safety programs by complying with procedures and reporting unsafe conditions. Stay current with ads and promotions. Promote corporate brands and educate associates. Manage scheduling to meet customer demand. Provide actionable feedback for team growth. Align work with store initiatives and communicate priorities. Maintain product knowledge for associates and customers. Create and execute sales promotions with management. Monitor supply expenses and assist in budgeting and profit/loss reviews. Develop and implement department business plans. Supervise and coach associates, conduct performance reviews, and recognize achievements. Work effectively in high-paced, stressful environments. Manage conflicts cooperatively and with integrity. Follow directions and seek help when needed. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Perform essential functions with or without accommodations. Qualifications
