Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15, 2025 Friday, November 14: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm Saturday, November 15: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm Gwinnett County Police Training Center 854 Winder Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30045 Hiring Process
An obstacle course, orientation, detailed application, and oral interview. The entire process typically takes two to three hours. Bring water and a snack. Applicants who submit an application but do not have an appointment are still welcome, although wait times will be longer. Minimum Qualification
High School Diploma or G.E.D. U.S. Citizen for Georgia P.O.S.T. certification. Valid driver’s license from the state of residency. 21 years of age (20 years old at time of application). Successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation, including criminal, controlled substance, driving, work history, and physical agility testing. Salary & Incentives
$53,772 base salary with possible incentives up to: • $55,385, including a 3% pay incentive for an Associate’s degree • $56,998, including a 6% pay incentive for a Bachelor’s degree • $5,300 hiring incentive for new hires • 5% night shift differential EEO and Drug Testing Requirements
