Sales Support Specialist

Sales Support Specialist/Executive Assists with quoting and preparing client's proposals for the PSA BDP sales team by engaging with origin and destination offices, as well as with procurement and tender management. Liaise with local domestic transportation providers to maintain and improve on vendor relationships and ensure market competitiveness. Ensure client rate cards are maintained up to date as needed. Ensure Salesforce is up to date for the country/region. Creates new customer portfolio by identifying new leads via cold calling, using lead generation tools, and research and analysis. Organize customer visit for the sales team as needed. Communicate with department heads in regard to customer’s quoting needs. Conducts good relations with customers and PSA/BDP employees. Assists with preparation of sales and marketing related reports upon request for PSA BDP BDS or regional leadership and country management. Assisting with completion of RFI and RFQs as needed. Work with BDS and Operations to develop Standard Operating Procedures as needed, as well as to ensure postfixing is covered with accurate and complete document delivery. Maintain designated target lists for BDS team. Other Duties as required. Understanding of Freight Forwarding quotation process. Minimum 3 years of specialized experience in project cargo logistics within the oil & gas, energy, and EPC sectors, with in-depth knowledge of the market and its key suppliers for oversized and heavy-lift shipments, including breakbulk carriers, air/ocean charters, heavy haulage, and barging. Proven ability to lead procurement activities and structure complex project proposals and tenders, managing RFQs and RFPs for large-scale and specialized cargo, while also handling general cargo when required. Proactive professional with a strong sales-oriented mindset and exceptional customer service focus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer Skills: Outstanding Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM, and quoting tools.
