Responsibilities
Research and identify potential school and district partners through various outreach methods Qualify leads by understanding the needs of prospects and setting up appointments for Account Managers Build relationships with educators and school administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress towards sales goals in the CRM system Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall effectiveness
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and team members
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
