What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Research and identify potential school and district partners for Book Fairs
Qualify leads by understanding prospects' needs and setting appointments for Account Managers
Build relationships with educators and school administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track sales progress toward goals
Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of proven sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Demonstrated leadership ability and qualities in previous roles
Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
