Store - DEN-SUPERIOR, CO Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events (including kids birthday parties) within a Michaels store to provide a fun, engaging, and stress-free experience for guests. Deliver friendly customer service by assisting customers in shopping and finding products. Ensure a fast and friendly checkout process. Complete operational tasks such as truck unload, merchandise duties, and store recovery to meet Brand Promises. Event Coordination
Plan and coordinate multiple events, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. Create a fun and creative environment for clients of all ages. Demonstrate and instruct craft projects, perform face painting, and other activities. Manage party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to standards. Communicate event details with clients and team members. Handle administrative tasks such as emails, calls, and paperwork. Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs. Create backup or emergency plans. Ensure client satisfaction for all scheduled events. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, including setup and cleanup. Customer Experience
Assist customers with shopping, locating products, and providing solutions. Provide quick and friendly checkout experiences. Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, including enrollment. Educate customers about Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys. Support Omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram setup. Perform merchandise recovery and store maintenance. Support stock optimization and AD set duties. Contribute to shrink and safety programs. Follow SOPs and company policies for compliance. Interact positively and respectfully with others, embodying company values. Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production. Participate in daily store cleanliness activities. Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Energetic, enthusiastic personality. Ability to handle stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers. Excellent people skills. Experience working with children and managing children’s events. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, nonverbal) and listening skills. Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills. Retail and customer service experience required. Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to stand for long periods. Mobility throughout the store. Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves with ladders. Work in climate-controlled and outdoor environments, including nights, weekends, and early mornings. The position pays $14.81 - $17.30 per hour.
