Varies Education & Qualifications: Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. UNC Charlotte considers the highest earned degree in the discipline. Additional considerations include competence, effectiveness, related work experiences, professional licensure, honors, awards, and demonstrated teaching excellence. Duties and Responsibilities: Developing and updating course syllabi, preparing lectures, projects, or assignments. Meeting all class sessions, maintaining office hours. Grading assignments and exams timely. Submitting progress reports and final grades as per university regulations. Additional notes include the university's equal opportunity employment statement, background check requirements, and application procedures. The position is for Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 semesters. Finalists will need to provide official transcripts and recommendation letters.
