The Housing department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU. Purpose of the Position

This position will ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas by performing various housekeeping tasks. It will also oversee the work of assigned housekeeping workers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies Skilled in the use of housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers, and scrubbing machine Good interpersonal and communication skills Basic computer skills Ability to direct work assignments Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students Ability to work a flexible schedule and be on-call on a rotational basis Education Required

High school graduate or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma Valid driver’s license Experience Required

Experience overseeing the work of others Experience in cleaning methods and cleaning supplies Experience using a vacuum cleaner, buffer, and scrubbing machine Additional Consideration(s)

Prior hotel, higher education or similar housekeeping experience. Salary Information

Starting at $32,672, Commensurate with Education and Experience CNU Information
