Overview
The Housing department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU. This position will ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas by performing various housekeeping tasks and will oversee the work of assigned housekeeping workers. Responsibilities
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Oversee the work of assigned housekeeping workers and coordinate tasks as needed. Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma. Experience: Experience overseeing the work of others; experience in cleaning methods and cleaning supplies; experience using a vacuum cleaner, buffer, and scrubbing machine. Skills: Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies; good interpersonal and communication skills; basic computer skills; ability to direct work assignments; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students; ability to work a flexible schedule and be on-call on a rotational basis. Experience
Experience overseeing the work of others. Experience in cleaning methods and cleaning supplies. Experience using a vacuum cleaner, buffer, and scrubbing machine. Additional Considerations
Prior hotel, higher education or similar housekeeping experience. Salary Information
Starting at $32,672, Commensurate with Education and Experience. Departmental/University Information
