Ensure smooth Clearance for all crew in accordance with advised Port requirements and OCI / RSSC policies Ensure accurate financial reporting of crew accounting, maintenance of crew systems and payroll compliance in accordance with OCI / RSSC policies Facilitate information flow to Department Heads, Shipboard Management and OCI / RSSC Corporate Liaise closely with Training & Development Manager / HR Manager on board to ensure good relations are maintained and information is shared between all on board Guest Experience: Demonstrates a genuine concern for guests’ wellbeing at all times; pro-active problem solving; ensure staff training, development and knowledge throughout concession outlets is maintained at optimum levels to facilitate the guests’ experience Operational and Administrative: Crew clearance and processing of port documents, maintain Ship’s Articles, organize crew sign on, Fidelio data entry (verify passport info, assign Ops numbers, confirm safety number, enter Seaman’s book info, home address, emergency contact, sign off/on crew in Fidelio, balance Fidelio to crew movement) Balance crew figures in Fidelio with day’s movements; perform crew pursers departure tasks; assign cabins; prepare and print crew passes; manage crew cabin assignments and track sheets; handle crew cabin changes and ship’s clearance paperwork; send pre-arrival information to ports and manifests; communicate daily crew movement; arrange visas for crew sign-off; manage crew flight details from Apollo and other systems; prepare landing forms; update daily voyage reports; attend cabin inspections; manage crew welfare finances and hard copies of crew contracts; maintain crew contracts and payroll-related documents; ensure passports, Seaman’s Books and certificates are up to date and properly issued Training and Development: Facilitate training of new crew pursers; train and support Crew Administrator; coach and support Second Purser; promote leadership and teamwork; support Signature Service program enhancements Safety: Monitor application of company policies, report non-compliance, prepare handover reports, participate in safety drills, comply with safety and pollution prevention regulations Qualifications and Experience
Education and Experience: Hospitality background preferred; travel industry and previous shipboard experience required; experience in front office, revenue operations and crew operations preferred; understanding of high service standards; excellent administrative skills; strong leadership; ability to work in an international environment; ability to perform under pressure; excellent appearance and social skills; well organized Systems: MS Office Suite; Fidelio Cruise system (modules including Cruise Management, Payroll, Data Import, US Customs APIS, Quick Check In); Micros Fidelio Point of Sale; NVS – Visual Reservation System Other: Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Education And Experience
