Responsibilities
Lead other associates by coaching, giving direction, and may include training. Ensure the function space is visually appealing and lead the event from start to end. Coordinate linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service as part of event execution. Perform general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintain a sanitary environment. Qualifications
Two years of previous experience working within Banquets required. Previous experience as a Banquet Captain in an upscale, luxury and/or boutique hotel is preferred. Alcohol and Food Handlers Certifications preferred. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Refined verbal communication skills. Ability to lift, push and pull moderate to heavy weights. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Must have schedule flexibility to work days, early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
