Provide best-in-class guest service: promptly greet guests; respond to questions/concerns quickly, effectively, and courteously; assist guests with gaming needs; inform guests of special promotions; recommend additional items; apply selling behaviors during every transaction and thank guests for shopping at GameStop; circulate throughout the store to prioritize guests over tasks. Support the total shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns accurately using the POS system; handle transactions with correct changes, receipts, and packaging while maintaining top-notch guest service. Respond to guest questions in person or on the phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop’s guest benefits, such as new title reservations, trade-in program, and Pro Rewards loyalty program. Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training Store Associates in company policies and procedures. Observe associate performance, provide timely feedback, and address unsatisfactory performance as directed. Provide recognition and feedback to associates; document performance in HR systems in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding and training are completed prior to opening or closing shifts; ensure associates know policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and ethics. Schedule and supervise store associates to meet guest service expectations; manage staffing and breaks as required. Assist with payroll processing, paid time off, and time edits; verify compensation for time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per company guidelines; ensure equipment is in proper working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily; conduct inventory counts and merchandising tasks to keep products represented and organized. Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention; communicate concerns to the Store Manager. Support the team in achieving sales, profit, and shrink goals; complete required administrative duties. Perform stock counts, restock shelves, and ensure products are properly displayed and alphabetized. Reconcile daily sales totals in the POS system; manage closeout paperwork and deposits per guidelines. Verify shipments for discrepancies; conduct inventories and communicate issues to management. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls; label boxes with appropriate packing lists. Maintain safety awareness and report injuries per guidelines; assist in maintaining organized store records. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including the Associate Handbook and Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct. Adhere to opening and closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Outgoing and welcoming personality with strong people skills. Genuine and individualized guest assistance during every visit. Clear verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet objectives. Work independently and in a team to complete tasks promptly. Maintain safety, attendance, personal appearance, and respectful workplace standards. Operate the POS system; basic math and alphabetical skills. Complete required paperwork accurately and follow written, oral, or diagram instructions. Flexible schedule, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum 3 days/week availability. Ability to work under pressure, be creative, and solve problems while maintaining guest interactions. Reliability, trustworthiness, and sound judgment. Able to stand and move for extended periods; lift up to 30 lbs and perform related physical tasks. Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $10.75 - $14.75 per hour. Full-time store positions may be eligible for incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, dental, vision, and health insurance. Bonus opportunities or other incentives may apply.
