Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security in the Department of Information Systems and Security with a preferred start date of August 2026. These are nine-month contracted positions. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities
Teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the technical aspects of cybersecurity Research and scholarship in information systems Professional service to the Department, College, and University The standard teaching load is 3/3 but is negotiable and can be reduced to 3/2 or 2/2 based on research productivity. Coles College provides summer research support for new faculty for up to 3 years. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications
A doctorate, or a foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a closely related discipline, is required. Note: Required degree must be earned by start date. Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with a doctorate degree earned from an AACSB accredited college/school Record of prior teaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid courses) Documentation of technical skills in cybersecurity Record of research accomplishments Required Documents to Attach
