The Sales Representative is a key position on the TeamLogic IT Portland team and supports our corporate objective of growing market penetration and customers. The Sales Representative will generate revenue by managing the sales pipeline, generating leads, and conducting discovery and proposal meetings resulting in meeting/exceeding sales quota. The job pays a competitive compensation and benefits package with a commission structure that has no cap on sales closed.
Responsibilities:
Prospect new sales opportunities with small and medium businesses applying lead generation sales methodologies. Meet or exceed revenue quotas. Promptly follow up with and qualify marketing-generated inquiries for our services. Research and gather information about target SMBs and develop prospecting lists. Document all activities and interactions in the CRM tool. Efficiently manage the sales pipeline to produce the maximum amount of results. Create and perform various outbound call campaigns around verticals, specific events, or targets in addition to ongoing activities to build the pipeline. Support our direct or indirect channel sales efforts as needed or requested. Conduct web research and navigate organizations to uncover appropriate contacts. Knowledge, Skills, & Requirements:
Must have previous B2B sales experience; small business sector experience is a plus. Proven track record of quota attainment. Strong tele-qualifying, prospecting, and marketing skills; ability to reach prospects creatively, identify decision makers, and handle objections positively and professionally. Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack. Qualify and attend sales appointments. Maintain CRM data, share best practices, continually improve processes, and provide clear and consistent reporting to management. Proactively manage your schedule and pipeline in order to meet milestones and objectives. Field inbound calls and leads from various sources and qualify for business potential. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and business acumen. Powerful written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver above-expectation results in driving pipeline growth. Demonstrated ability to conduct extensive outbound cold calling. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Creative tactics to reach executive management. Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Personal Skills and Characteristics:
