Sales Associate Job Description The Sales Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency: delivering Coach’s Service and Selling Models, creating a positive first impression, building ongoing customer relationships through a personalized experience, and leaving a lasting impression. Responsibilities

SALES FLOOR: Understands organizational objectives and makes decisions aligned with Company priorities Takes ownership of personal and store metrics; creates personal sales and clienteling strategies with management Creates short- and long-term strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals Takes ownership of personal survey results and creates improvement plans Represents Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrates Selling and Service expectations Understands local market changes and supports local sales strategies and tactics D drives business through sales strategies, clienteling, and maintaining relationships Maintains a polished appearance and acts as a personal fashion advisor with knowledge of competition Provides in-depth product knowledge including features, benefits, and value Communicates current pricing and promotions to customers Discusses product features and uses cross-selling to build the sale Cross-sells and suggests relevant add-ons; tailors approach to customer needs Attends to unique shopping needs and assists multiple customers; follows up to influence/close the sale Implements personal selling techniques to support store financial results Builds lasting customer relationships and utilizes tools for clienteling Creates enthusiasm for a shared vision and supports a team selling environment Fosters teamwork and collaboration; remains solution-oriented and flexible to change Welcomes feedback and maintains a calm, professional demeanor OPERATIONS: Ensures daily tasks are completed without impacting service or Coach standards Performs store, cash wrap, and visual merchandising tasks to Coach standards Maintains a clean selling floor and adheres to policies and procedures Replenishes inventory on the sales floor as needed Supports store inventory and cash-wrap processes; processes transactions and maintains organization and visual merchandising standards. Qualifications and Competencies

Experience:

1-3 years of sales experience; luxury retail preferred; knowledge of fashion trends and competition Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred Technical:

Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills, Mobile POS, Internet; ability to use iPad/laptop; read price sheets Physical:

Ability to work at a fast pace; ability to move around the sales floor; ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds for shipments Schedule:

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Additional requirements include attendance of required trainings and willingness to work in a retail environment. Core Competencies Our Competencies for All Employees:

Base Pay Range:
