Overview
Retail Merchandiser (part-time) – Boston, MA 02108 As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent the Hallmark brand in stores. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations. You may also work with products from other companies in the stores you service. Responsibilities
Day-to-day engagement: Using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Maintain professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. Holiday support: Seasonal demand requires additional days and extended hours around major holidays (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). You may be required to work on holidays and weekends. Department Resets: Part of a team responsible for installations, building and relocating fixtures, and resetting card sections. You will typically be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which could include evenings or weekends. One Team Vision: You are part of Hallmark’s field network of merchandisers and may support other team members in their territories. Qualifications
Basic qualifications: You are at least 18 years old. You can read, write, and understand English. Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to operate a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information. Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet. Access to reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled. Physical Requirements:
This is a physically demanding job requiring energy and urgency. You may stand, walk, kneel, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You may climb stairs or ladders as needed. Pay and Schedule
Base pay range: $16.25/hr - $16.50/hr Starting pay between $16.25 - $16.50, depending on skills and experience Part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week Weekly hours: 8-10 hours per week Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required Benefits and Additional Information
