Join to apply for the Bacardi Account Manager- East Bay, CA role at Bacardi. This is a Direct Search led by Bacardi; applications from agencies will not be accepted nor will fees be paid for unsolicited CVs. You will join a team of dynamic activation managers across the country and be responsible for achieving the organization’s strategic and commercial goals with a selection of key on-premise accounts and customers. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, develop customer strategies and business plans, create and sell-in promotional programming, and ensure high-quality organization and execution within a designated market. Responsibilities
Manage and strengthen key relationships within a designated list of on-premise accounts within your territory through a consultative and influential approach. Track all activities and submit activity reports in a proprietary reporting tool to the supervisor, including KPI progress, account visits, trainings, accomplishments, competitive activities, and special projects. Participate in overall market commercial planning, which may include weekly and monthly team meetings. Efficiently manage T&E Budget as well as the monthly activation budget. Execute activities to drive sales, ongoing promotional activations, and training bar staff on Bacardi portfolio of products. Lead meetings with key off-premise accounts within the assigned area to develop strong working relationships and pursue increased volumes and long-term opportunities. Meet sales objectives, including basic account management, new distribution, drink features, and program development & execution. Deliver year-over-year growth within the account list while meeting monthly KPIs. Be visible at key local events and participate where it fits Bacardi’s strategy, including national initiatives in the local market. Participate in promotions and events, often in evenings or weekends. Stay informed of customer and consumer trends and develop programs to capitalize on them. Provide market and competitive brand updates to the supervisor with timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions, staffing at distributors, and competitor activity. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry, preferably in on-premise. Strong relationship management skills with a consumer-centric approach to achieve results. Proven communication skills (written and verbal) with comfort presenting to groups including executives, employees, vendors, and customers at all levels. Organized, independent thinker who can multitask and acts ethically and professionally in line with company values. Strong analytical ability to prepare reports, coordinate efforts, and solve problems; effective time management and prioritization. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to navigate the Internet. Competitive, highly motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team. Adaptable to market conditions and consumer trends; curious about diverse cultures and able to work with diverse groups. The base salary range listed for this position is $77,938- $93,429...
