Position Title: 2025 Graders and TAs for Summer Session
Department: Statistics (SAS - Statistics).
Salary: A minimum of $2685 per credit.

Posting Summary The Department of Statistics at Rutgers University seeks outstanding applicants to serve as a Summer Session Grader or TA for Statistics course(s). Grading will be performed under the supervision of the primary course instructor. Candidates will be responsible for grading undergraduate and/or graduate level courses during the Summer sessions and will be assigned one or more courses scheduled between late May and mid-August. Grading support will include preparation of grade submission policies and adherence to deadlines. This position reports to the primary instructor of the assigned course.
Responsibilities
Grade undergraduate and/or graduate level courses under the supervision of the primary course instructor.
Prepare and adhere to grade submission policies and deadlines.
Assist the primary instructor in preparing and adhering to grade submission policies and deadlines during the Summer sessions.
Report to the primary instructor of the assigned course.
Maintain accurate grading records and documentation.
Support remote instruction as required.
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: Successful candidates will most likely be a graduate student with a major in Statistics, the Statistics MSDS Program or the Statistics FSRM Program. Graduate students in similar disciplines will also be considered. Prior grading experience in the department is preferred but not required.
