What You’ll Be Doing
Lead a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, respected, and excited to learn Plan and facilitate hands-on, sensory-rich, curiosity-driven learning experiences Support children’s social-emotional development with patience, empathy, and humor Build strong, trusting relationships with families and coworkers Collaborate with a team that values creativity, communication, and lifelong learning Infuse your classroom with Jewish culture, community, and celebration (don’t worry—Hebrew not required!) You Have 2+ years of experience working with young children (infants to age 5) Bring energy, empathy, and creativity into the classroom every day Are reliable, responsible, and consistent in your presence and your care Believe deeply in learning through play, connection, and discovery Are team-oriented, solution-focused, and flexible when plans (inevitably) change Communicate clearly and openly with children, families, and colleagues Love to laugh, reflect, and try new things Value diversity, inclusion, and Jewish values in a learning environment Bonus Points If You
Have coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Are familiar with Reggio Emilia, emergent curriculum, or Jewish education Are CPR/First Aid certified Speak Hebrew or have experience in a Jewish setting (not required, but awesome!) Position Details, Salary & Perks
Schedule Options:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (35 hours/week) or Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week). Choose the schedule that best fits your lifestyle—we’re flexible! Contract Options:
Full-Time | 10-month or 12-month Salary Range:
$50,000–$65,000. Final salary is based on total hours worked, contract length, experience, and professional credentials. Additional Perks Include:
