Description, Responsibilities, & Duties We are seeking a passionate, full-time Preschool Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year, working with a class of three-year-olds. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who views themselves as a lifelong learner, eager to collaborate with co-teachers and engage meaningfully with children and their families.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that fosters children’s growth and learning.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere.
Engage with students through interactive activities that promote curiosity and exploration.
Assess and document student progress to tailor educational approaches accordingly.
Communicate effectively with families through newsletters, emails, and in-person conversations
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for all children.
Utilize various teaching methods, including Reggio Emilia principles, to enhance learning experiences.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. (Master’s Degree preferred)
Experience working with young children in an early childhood setting
Strong behavior and classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
Ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of preschoolers.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
Warm, nurturing demeanor with the ability to connect with young children and families.
Knowledge of child development and experience with child-centered curriculum.
Familiarity with Reggio Emilia methods is a plus but not required.
Passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering children’s growth.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative spirit.
Salary & Benefits Full-time Position – 8:15am – 3:00pm
Pay: $42,000.00 per year

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we offer a progressive, play-based program that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in children ages 1 through 5.
