Focus on development of independent life skills, self help, functional academics, communication, and positive social interactions for students between 5 and 22 years of age with severe to extreme behavioral disabilities.

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups of severely handicapped students who may have extreme behavioral issues in a classroom; Provide direct instruction, monitor, and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; assist students in developing various self-help, behavior, social and community skills.
