Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Work under the direction and supervision of the Mental Health Services Manager, Child and Family Services. Provide skill building, advocacy services to families, recommend appropriate referrals, provides facilitation for a variety of trainings and parent groups to support family Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Requirements / Qualifications
SCOE Classified Application Copies of transcripts Employee must arrange their own transportation. If using own vehicle in the course of employment, must provide proof of insurance. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in related fields such as social service agencies, community-based organizations, or county social welfare services. Unofficial transcripts attached to application.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Some positions in this classification may be required to possess bilingual or bi-literate skills in a designated second language. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice/FBI/CACI Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance will be required prior to employment.
