The Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment is pleased to announce an opening for a psychometrist position. Duties consist of administering psychological/neuropsychological tests to individual children and adolescents (parents are sometimes in the room to assist). The technician also scores the tests and prepares a data table summary of all tests administered, including detailed description of observations within 2 business days. The technician additionally participates in consultation with the psychology/interdisciplinary teams regarding observations, test results, and validity issues and attends weekly Psych Team meetings. Further, the technician maintains interview/testing rooms and test materials, and tracks test material usage. Finally, the technician also provides assistance to supervising psychologists as requested. Opportunities may also be available for training others in the center on test administration, participation on the crisis prevention/intervention team, and learning the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2). Shift

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Certifications as required by state/federal law or regulatory agencies is necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range
