Assistant Nurse Manager, Periop - Main OR - University Hospital Responsibilities
The Assistant Nurse Manager assists the Nurse Manager in the overall planning, directing and evaluating the activities of the unit staff. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager assumes total responsibility on a twenty-four hour basis. Collaborates with the Perioperative Director, Support Service Managers, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, and Information Associate to evaluate patient care flow in the perioperative areas, troubleshoot areas needing improvement, and implement changes. Coordinates staff orientation and education with the Perioperative Nurse Educator. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Ohio nursing license (license to practice professional nursing). Experience in an acute care setting required. Details
