What to Expect
Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
Establish rapport with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward monthly and quarterly sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve effectiveness
What is Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with CRM or sales automation tools
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers and customers
How to Stand Out
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Demonstrated leadership ability and qualities
Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results in a dynamic environment
