Account Manager - Madison Area Join Agrace, a nationally recognized nonprofit leader in hospice and palliative care. As an Account Manager, you will support meaningful, patient‑centered care by developing and maintaining relationships with health‑care and community partners.

Location & Time Madison Area · Full‑time (40 hrs/week) · Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm

How You’ll Make a Difference (Essential Functions) The Account Manager manages sales and relationships with healthcare and community partners, maintaining existing relationships, expanding new business, and coordinating sales activities within the communities served. They ensure patients have access to all Agrace services through personal relationships and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Initiate contact with clinical and community leaders to introduce Agrace’s services.

Maintain regular in‑person contact with assigned accounts and respond promptly.

Request commitments from referral sources to identify Agrace as a hospice partner.

Identify opportunities to enhance community and clinical partnerships.

Represent Agrace at community and clinical events, including weekends and evenings.

Develop relationships with new‑market home‑care staff and report concerns to the Regional Sales Manager.

Meet all goals (referrals, admissions, visits, contracted partners) set for the new market.

Education & Experience

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Promotion and provision of educational presentations to all audiences.

Attendance at public events to provide information on Agrace services.

Provision and coordination of annual in‑services for assigned accounts and community partners.

Other Duties

Participate in admissions and ensure the admission team has necessary information.

Stay updated on referral sources while identifying potential new sources.

Document all activities in Salesforce.

You Bring (Qualifications)

Associate degree or equivalent.

Minimum of two years of healthcare sales or related experience.

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable vehicle.

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Knowledge of healthcare partner operations (clinics, hospitals, long‑term care).

Demonstrated success in clinical sales/marketing with strong relationship building.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.

Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Attention to detail and excellent follow‑through.

Effective verbal and written communication.

Flexibility to meet organizational needs.

Confidentiality regarding patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and intellectual property.

Proper body mechanics and standard precautions.
