Overview

Account Executive role at Meriplex. Reports to the VP, Sales and focuses on seeking out new business opportunities and clients to grow the customer base in the Large Physician Groups/Orthopedics sectors. The role requires relationship building, understanding client needs and technical landscape, and creating a qualified pipeline with ROI-focused business cases. Solid financial acumen is essential and the role is held to specific quotas and KPIs. Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to all assigned customers, measured in team and individual scorecard dashboards. Negotiate competitive solution proposals highlighting Meriplex strategy of mutual business value. Conduct proactive outreach and sales activities, with the majority of time spent in front of prospects (in person or virtual). Utilize CRM to provide accurate, timely forecast funnel to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Interact with key stakeholders to ensure renewals and/or drive new sales to completion. Build and maintain rapport and trust through responsive ownership of deliverables and respectful communication. Develop and maintain working knowledge of Meriplex products, services, and solutions. Maintain a results-driven mindset to proactively develop opportunities independently. Maintain an accurate and timely pipeline for reporting, including management of customer data. Engage with technology partners (EOM) to provide updates on new opportunities as they develop. Participate in sales training to maintain knowledge of Meriplex products and solutions. Learn and practice the Meriplex sales process for new logo acquisition to build a pipeline of opportunities at 5x quota. Collaborate with team to hand off new logo customers to an Account Manager. Maintain/manage a marketing plan with the marketing team using email, webinars, events, etc. for targeted prospects and assist with company-wide marketing programs. Maintain Salesforce.com for all open opportunities and regular updates with sales leaders. Proficiency with Salesforce, marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Effective time management and collaboration with team members. Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work with limited direction. Comfort with visible opportunity/funnel management and dashboards. Proactive in developing opportunities independently and handling escalated negotiations professionally. Present a professional image to customers, clients, and partners. Education / Experience

Experience in Large Physician Groups, Orthopedics, Urology, and gastroenterology with nationwide contacts. Experience with PR/EMR vendors like NextGen, Vergiam, ModMed, Athena preferred. 3+ years of B2B sales experience; selling to IT/Finance/Operations executives; Managed Services experience a plus. Knowledge of IT sales and business solutions (e.g., WAN, Managed Security, Managed Services, UCaaS, Hardware, Cloud, Disaster Recovery, Professional Services preferred). Intermediate or advanced CRM skills preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Physical Demands
